Reproduction of an incredible 98×82” quilt made from fabric, beads and found objects. The Angel is Ellen’s aunt who, after she had died, appeared in her daughter’s dream predicting she would have a daughter even though she and her husband had no plans for a child. Nine months later she had a daughter. The Quilt Project, numbering more than 20 quilts, is Ellen’s remarkable way of honoring her elders, sharing
history and celebrating the love and strength of family.
