Cooking Is Self-Determination

Makes the link between the practice of cooking and self-empowerment in breaking away from the industrial "profit-not-nutrition" food system. This poster was part of a series of images that educated youth of color about local food production and urban farming. When the dominant messages around food encourage us to eat “fast” and “cheap,” positive and alternative messages are of major importance in changing our diets!
