Dorothy (1897–1980) was a radical, Catholic pacifist who co-founded The Catholic Worker Movement in the 1930’s. Today, there are more than 100 CW communities around the world. Photo taken near Lamont, CA in 1973 at a field picket organized during the first UFW National Convention. Dorothy was eventually arrested.
