We mourn all those killed and injured in the past year of horrific violence in Palestine and Israel, violence which now rains down on Lebanon, Yemen and perhaps Iran. We always support peace and justice, but until Palestinians are free, there can only be a temporary illusion of peace. 

As we have since October 7, 2023 we call for a permanent ceasefire, release of all hostages and political prisoners, massive humanitarian aid, and the start of negotiations for a lasting peace.  Since our founding in 1982, we have consistently supported a just and lasting peace guaranteeing human rights and safety
for Palestinians, Israelis and all others in the region.

Although the carnage in Gaza continues, it's clear that the rising organizing and activism in support of a ceasefire and a free Palesine are having a meaningful impact.
