Kamala Harris is an historic Presidential candidate. The first Black-South Asian American to run for President as the nominee of a major party. (Don't forget Shirley Chisholm's 1972 run for President.)

Harris comes in with significant capacity to wage a strong campaign and keep Trump out of the White House. As a vibrant, energized candidate, she offers a forceful contrast to Trump's personal immorality, demagoguery and dangerous policy agenda. As VP Harris highlights the important policy differences and the important accomplishments of the Biden administration, we hope her momentum will continue.

Harris' selection of Tim Walz as her Vice Presidential candidate adds to the enthusiasm given his thoughtful, progressive politics and easy to relate to style.

As more information emerges about Project 2025, the right wing policy wishlist, and as Trump continues to lie and barely hide his autocratic intentions, the need to keep him out of office is clearer than ever.
