Poster - Frederick Douglass 1818-2018

This poster was published in collaboration with the Frederick Douglass Family Initiative as part of celebrations of the 200th anniversary of Frederick Douglass's birth - February 14, 2018. As part of the One Million Abolitionists Project, the Frederick Douglass family has published a special Bicentennial Edition of Douglass's American Slave Narrative. They hope to give to one million young people across the United States. The book inspires all of us to reflect upon the issues facing our communities today, such as systemic racism, human trafficking, police brutality and mass incarceration.
