Although the carnage in Gaza continues, it's clear that the rising organizing and activism in support of a ceasefire and a free Palesine are having a meaningful impact.

Dear friends:

Although the carnage in Gaza continues, it's clear that the increased organizing and activism in support of a ceasefire and a free Palestine are having a meaningful impact. The Biden administration's decision NOT to block the UN Security Council ceasefire resolution on Monday is historic. Over the past five decades, the US has vetoed some 60 resolutions critical of Israel. Let's build on this momentum, pressing the Biden administration and Congress to follow up with the logical next step of stopping aid to Israel.

I had the privilege to go to Washington DC to join in State of the Union Address protests (March 7) to tell the Biden administration that we demand an immediate, permanent ceasefire in Gaza, the release of hostages and detainees and a massive influx of humanitarian aid to prevent starvation in Gaza. Over 200 of us blocked Pennsylvania Ave., delaying Biden's motorcade and the State of the Union Address. It was a remarkable action. Check out a powerful video montage of the protest here.

In solidarity,
