Customer Service Assistant Needed

Job Responsibilities
*  Take orders on the phone                           *  Respond to customer concerns
*  Assist customers in the store                      *  Enter orders into the computer
*  Package Cards and other products             *  Fold T-shirts
*  General clerical and online tasks, errands

Requirements
*  Good people skills, phone, in-person and online
*  Computer proficiency (word, email, web) and ability to learn new software (Shopify)
*  Reliable, responsible and accountable
*  Ability to multi-task effectively, accurate and detail-oriented                                               *  Commitment to SCW’s mission 
*  Ability to follow directions and solve problems creatively

Time:     Up to 35 hours/week                          Salary: $15.50/hour 
Because of the political nature of our work, the wages we pay are lower than we'd like. We seek to balance that with a friendly, supportive work environment and a mission of creating a more just, peaceful and sustainable community and world. 

Benefits:     Paid half hour lunch for days when you work 6+ hours, $100 of free SCW products (after completing at least 8 weeks). Exciting, challenging, supportive, cooperative, committed workplace. 

Hours:     Part-time hours starting late August for training. Potential for fulltime starting late September through  late December.
