Seasonal Shipping Associate Needed
For decades, SCW has created quality, beautiful, agitational artwork, imagery and products to support feminist and progressive movements. We are in a period of growth as people rise against the threat of fascism. We are looking for dynamic, creative people to help us continue this important work.
Application deadline August 31. Starting mid-September part-time. Possible full-time through December.
Job Responsibilities
* Picking & Packaging orders
* Miscellaneous shipping tasks
Requirements
* Sufficient coordination to efficiently package shipments
* Ability to lift packages up to 40 pounds, and stand throughout your shift
* Reliable, responsible and accountable
* Ability to multi-task effectively, accurate and detail-oriented * Commitment to SCW’s mission
* Ability to follow directions and solve problems creatively
Time: Up to 35 hours/week Salary: $16.50-17.50/hour
Because of the mission-driven nature of our work, our wages are modest, but we balance that with a friendly, supportive work environment and a shared committment to building a more just, peaceful, and sustainable community and world.
Benefits: Paid half hour lunch for days when you work 6+ hours, personal/sick time, $100 of free SCW products (after completing at least 8 weeks). Exciting, challenging, supportive, cooperative workplace.
Hours: Part-time hours starting mid August for training. Potential for fulltime starting late September through late December.
