Inspired by stained glass windows, Kit enjoys using vibrant, colorful fabrics with a piecing technique that allows her designs to flow with curves and movement. The design is just beautiful and, to me, represents the hope of light and warmth in a time of gathering darkness, both spiritual and political. Sun in winter is so essential to maintaining one's peace in the midst of much cruelty. It reminds me that the Light shines on in the darkness.
