Chavez has the audacity to use Venezuela's considerable oil revenue (US 4th largest supplier) to improve living conditions for the poor. Venzuela also owns Citgo so its profits go to people's needs rather than wealthy elites. Revolution, fueled by US corporate globalization, is indeed sweeping Latin America with left governments now in power in Bolivia, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina and possibly Mexico, if the people are successful in overcoming voting fraud that appears linked to the US model.
