The dehumanizing rhetoric being used toward immigrants flies in the face of the fundamental values of our country. Most of us have immigrant ancestors who came here in a variety of ways – some fully above board and others through whatever means they could to gain greater safety.  Let's continue that tradition of welcome people to our shores.
