Indigenous Sovereignty has been under threat ever since Europeans came to these shores hundreds of years ago.

Understanding that Indigenous Nations are independent and sovereign and that many have formal treaty relationships with the United States government is critical. It is incumbent on all who believe in democracy and human rights to support and defend Indigenous Sovereignty.
