Customer Service Lead Job Opening

Time:     Full-time – 35 hours per week                              Salary:  $18-$21/hour
Benefits:     Health insurance, paid vacation, holidays and personal days
Hours:       9 or 10 am - 4 or 5 pm, Mon - Fri, some flexibility
Location:  400 Lodi Street, Syracuse, NY (near Northeast side of Syracuse)

OVERVIEW
For decades, SCW has created quality, beautiful, agitational artwork, imagery and products to support feminist and progressive movements. We are looking for a dynamic, creative person to join our customer service team to help us meet the political  moment, and prepare for the future. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
*  Coordinate SCW’s customer service work
*  Assist customers in the store, on the phone and online
*  Find creative solutions to customer concerns
*  Enter orders into our Shopify webstore software
*  Participate in transition to a worker cooperative
*  Partner with Operations Manager to oversee part-time customer service staff, train and              supervise seasonal staff (fall) 
*  Share in broader office and online tasks, errands
*  Manage wholesale customer relationships, including day to day contact and orders.

REQUIREMENTS
*  Good people skills - in-person, on the phone and online
* Strong written communication skills
* Reliable, responsible and accountable
* Flexible and able to multi-task effectively 
* Accurate and detail-oriented
* Computer proficiency (office, email, web) and ability to learn new software (such as Shopify)
* Commitment to social justice movements
* Work well under pressure/deadlines
* Able to act independently and as part of a team
