Barbara Carrasco is an artist and muralist with work exhibited in the U.S. and Europe. Her mural sketches are in the Permanent Collection of Works on Paper in the Library of Congress. She is a board member of the Dolores Huerta Foundation and in 2008 the Girl Scouts created a merit patch based on her image of Dolores Huerta.
This simple, yet strong, classic silkscreen image "Artistas Por La Paz" artists(f) for peace was originally commissioned by the center for the Study of Political Graphics.
