Postcard - Idle No More

This grassroots aboriginal rights movement was started initially by women in November, 2012 as a reaction to legislative abuses of indigenous treaty rights by the Canadian government; the movement takes particular issue with the recent omnibus Bill C-45 which effectively removed protection of waterways in the Canadian wilderness. Idle No More is a movement that empowers indigenous peoples to stand up for their nations, lands, treaties and sovereignty.
